Denim Jumpsuits
From stylish all-in-ones to casual overalls, the jumpsuit is HUGE this year.
Originally the denim jumpsuit was designed with skydivers and parachuters in mind way back in the 1900s, but nowadays it's the epitome of effortless chic; a stylish outfit that you can just throw on in seconds! So it's no surprise to us that both stars and fashion designers are all over denim overalls again this year.
Comfy and stylish, our favorite denim jumpsuits were seen on the catwalks of Dior and Stella McCartney where the look was heavily inspired by the 70s - and because they are usually made from lightweight cotton, they will keep you cool in the heat, too. A must-have.
Wide Leg
Remember the Spice Girls? Well, thanks to nostalgia for the 90s, we're seeing a return to wide, roomy legged pants this year.
The wide-leg/flared jean is perfect for women who want to balance out full hips but looks just as chic on all kinds of figures, and you'll be pleased to hear that the flattering high waist is still very much on trend, too!
Try an ankle cut denim style if you prefer wearing flats or super-long floor skimmer jeans with a chunky heel if you like to add some height to your look. Just perfect!
Zip It Up!
Visible zippers replace classic button-flys on your jeans for Spring Summer 2019!
Yes, you heard us correctly, it's all about zippers on the outside for SS19 - even to do the darned things up! The deconstructed zipper was in full force on the catwalk this year - but if you don't feel like this new trend is for you, opt for a style that features zips on the legs or knees. There are a lot of them around including these cool black-washed jeans from Levis. Just make sure you remember to do them up...
Jean Skirts
The classic denim skirt will never go out of style, and for that we're thankful.
But this season the mini-skirt has been replaced by longer asymmetrical, hemlines in everything from acid wash to darkest denim. Easy to wear, the new denim skirt makes a change from jeans, but still keeps your style casual.
We say: 'All hail the midi skirt!" that looks amazing with boots, flats or heels.
Denim Shoes
But the best news (as far as we are concerned) is that denim shoes are big for SS19, too.
Durable, breathable and oh-so-cute we think denim espadrilles make the perfect summer shoe, although we could be a bit biased... But best of all, thanks to the double denim look that's still going strong for 2019, you can slip on a pair of denim espadrille wedges with your fave pair of jean shorts and you'll be right on trend in seconds...
